Our Capabilities

Axcia Projects Ltd undertake all aspects of Building and Maintenance contracts for Commercial, Industrial, Health and Educational sectors including Universities. We also offer specialist services within the Fire Safety sector.

Every project needs a strong foundation in order to be successful. Our preconstruction department is among the best, and we offer unmatched service to set the tone for success before a project even breaks ground. We work with the design firm and the owner to address any issues or challenges, and we are thorough in planning and estimating to ensure the best results.

We provide a specialised level of knowledge and experience, particularly for complex projects that require a wide array of skills to manage. We add value by providing the resources and expertise needed to manage quality, cost, schedule, scope, and risks associated with design and construction.

As a general contractor, our longevity and experience are what makes us a leader, along with our self-perform capabilities, strong trade partner relationships, and market knowledge. We prioritize effective communication and safety in managing the day-to-day operations at the construction site.

Our team excels in this collaborative approach that includes a single point of responsibility for design and construction. An owner benefits from early construction input during design, budget, and planning phases, allowing design and construction to overlap and increasing efficiency.

The capabilities and expertise of our in-house trade professionals include: selective demolition, carpentry, interior partitions and finishes, painting, and fire-stopping. Although we offer these services, we also utilise trade partners every day who perform these services.

Shopfitting & Bespoke Joinery

Shopfitting is the specialised art of manufacturing and installing fixtures and fittings to create a beautiful and durable retail or corporate interior space. We pride ourselves on the quality workmanship of all our shopfitting projects.

Domestic Extensions and Refurbishments

A house extension is a versatile way of adding extra space to your home, and there are many ways you could go about doing so. You could go for something really simple or something more grandiose like a double storey wrap around extension. Which style our customers choose usually comes down to budget and personal preference. Architectural capacity is also a vital factor and one of our architectural specialists will be happy to survey your property, work out exactly what’s possible to do with your home and come up with a tailored solution to fit your individual needs.

CAT A & B Office Fitouts

A Cat A fit out is the basic finishing of an interior space, this type of fit out includes the installation of a building’s mechanical and electrical services. A Cat A project will also include finished internal walls, reception areas and lift lobbies – but that’s it. With raised metal flooring, painted perimeter walls and a grid ceiling with fitted lights, Cat A spaces are often described as a ‘blank canvas’ as it is ready to be transformed into a Cat B space. Generally commissioned by landlords.

A Cat B fit out is the term used to describe a fully operational workplace that has been designed to a client’s unique specifications to make it their own. A Cat B fit out involves everything from building different rooms to choosing the art on the walls. Cat B fit outs will usually be carried out by a company before they move into a new office with the help of a design and build company.

Demolition & Soft Strip Out

Soft stripping techniques will identify non-structural and non-load bearing elements within a building or structure such as timber, plastics and metals. These materials will be split into responsible waste or recyclable components and disposed of or salvaged following environmental regulations and local compliance.

Project & Construction Management

Project management uses processes, skills, tools and knowledge to complete a planned project and achieve its goals. It differs from general management because of the limited scope of a project, concrete deadlines and specific deliverables. A project exists temporarily and must balance the involved team members’ time and usually the organisation’s limited financial resources—a daunting task but one that can be accomplished in a few deliberate steps that utilise special methods and tools.

Industrial & Retail Fit Outs

These works can be carried out as part of our core operations

Suspended Ceilings & Partitions

Whether you are interested in glass partitions or metal partitions, with glazed and metal stud partition walls there are no limits to what you can do. When operating processes or structures change, simply change the room layout to reflect this, quickly and without any waste.

One type of suspended ceiling is made up of Acoustic Ceiling Tiles (ACT) and a stick-built grid system. Sometimes called a lay-in ceiling, this type of system is versatile, durable, and cost effective. In addition, the ceiling tiles can be removed without damage to the system so that above ceiling items can be maintained. Seen throughout many commercial and institutional buildings, ACT is a popular ceiling material that now has a wide variety of aesthetic options.

An MF ceiling system (also known as a metal furring system) is a sophisticated construction solution consisting of a suspended metal frame onto which plasterboard sheets are directly fixed, creating a smooth and seamless finish. This system combines the robustness of metal with the versatility of plasterboard, allowing for a high degree of customisation to suit the aesthetic and functional needs of your space.
